CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU (CAB)

The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) has become an essential community
service; a safe place for people to seek help about their problems,
understand their rights and how to use this assistance to get the best
outcomes.

On the North Shore, our 200 volunteers and 7 offices provide people
with the confidence and support they need to take effective action, and
work for positive social change within our communities and wider
society.

Nationally, the service is provided by more than 2,300 trained
volunteers, in more than 80 locations around New Zealand.
Our army of volunteers have become a champion for people’s rights,
working tirelessly to solve the underlying causes of the problems they
face and every year, in New Zealand our free, confidential and friendly
service helps over 500,000 people with their unique issues.
